The nail polishes included were Martha and Kennedy. Martha is a beautiful pale pink creme and Kennedy is a khaki creme. I am glad that both polishes that were included in my box were creme finishes, since that's my favourite! I really do love the pink polish, and the khaki is a great neutral for any nail polish collection as well as nail art (I'm thinking beach-themed?)!
The DD Creme interested me since I have never tried any BB/CC/DD Cremes out there. Unfortunately, they sent me the shade Medium and I am quite fair so there's no way I'll be able to wear it. I'll probably give it to my mom or my sister since they are both more tanned than I am.
However, I still did try the DD Creme on the back of my hand. It blended into my skin really nicely and had a dewy finish. It felt really smooth and moisturizing as well. I still don't plan on buying the Light shade though as it retails for $36.
Overall, this box could be better, but it could also certainly be worse. I'm sure I'll get lots of wear out of the pink nail polish and will try and use the khaki one as well! And hopefully I find someone that will enjoy the DD Creme! The contents of this box retail for $64 and as a Julep Maven it was sent to me for $19.99!
very pretty nail shades. Love the soft pink especially.
ReplyDeleteI have never heard of DD cream. Just jumped on CC cream and quite enjoying it.
