lipstick + lacquer: My 19th Birthday (+ Haul)!

Last Friday, the 19th, I turned 19! I spent the day going to school for a class (in which my prof insisted the class sing happy birthday to me) and then I went out for dinner with my parents and later we watched 21 Jump Street! I didn't have a party or anything but I did get visit a friend the day after to go see a band play, and now I'm visiting another friend for the week!

I thought I'd do a mini birthday haul showing you the things I got! My parents got me:

A 25mm curling wand! My sister has a curling wand but it's really skinny, so I wanted a bigger one for myself!

This skull print shirt! I love basically anything black and white with skulls, so this shirt is perfect.

This floral shirt! I've had my eye on this for about a month, and in the most recent episode of Glee, Santana was wearing it which kind of made me want it more :P!

The Urban Decay Naked2 palette!!! I've wanted a UD palette for sooo long, and this is my first one! I'm obsessed with it!

My best friend also got me a couple of things:

She got me a Slatkin & Co. candle in the scent Midnight Pomegranate, and the book Looking For Alaska by John Green (who's my favourite author)! I actually used to own this book and I read it a couple of years ago but I have no idea where my copy of the book went, so I'm glad I have it again!
